2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The lockout may have cost fans the Hall of Fame Game, but the ceremony still went down in Canton last night. Shannon Sharpe delivered one of the best speeches I’ve heard, while Marshall Faulk thanked the whole ’99 Rams team during his speech. Regardless, Faulk remains one of the best players I have ever seen, and every “all-purpose threat” owes a lot to that dude. But of course, they saved the best for last. Deion Sanders stole the show (as expected, and as usual), delivering a sermon better than anything your mother heard in church this morning. He also created several hashtag lines along the way, such as “disgame”. His speech embodied everything that Prime Time was on the field, and he even addressed his non-tackling reputation:

“Since 1989, I’ve tackled every bill my momma has ever given me.”

No argument there. With Ice Cube and Snoop looking on, Deion put a bandana on his Hall of Fame bust. It better stay on there.

Prime Time, the OG shutdown corner, shut it down.

P.S.-I love how none of the busts really look like the players.

Deion’s speech was more polarizing, but this was still the best one of the night.
