I’ve seen K.R.I.T live more than any other artist in the past 12 months. So yeah, I’m a fan. June 5th, hoes.
This is the artwork 4 my debut album “Live From The Underground”. It’s a representation of how I feel about underground vs mainstream music. At times I feel like mainstream music operates on a totally different planet. This illustrates how I’ve crash landed into the mainstream to bring the sounds from the underground back 2 the forefront. I want to thank everyone for all their support of my journey so far. Especially Team Big K.R.I.T. and my K4L supporters. I put twitter and facebook backgrounds in here for y’all to put on your pages. Let’s make history on June 5th. – K.R.I.T.
Just like in ’96 and ’08, it’s about to be a Nas summer. Oddly enough, this will be the third time he’s dropped an album during an Olympic summer. Although Nas is my favorite rapper, I don’t think he ever thought about that. The weed be lettin’ you know, but….nah, not here.
Anyway, his next single “Daughters” will drop on May 1. Here’s the artwork, and below is Nas announcing the album’s release date via Twitter. I’ve said in the past that I won’t believe it’s actually coming out until I get a release date, and now I have one.
Spitta’s new album will be in stores June 5 I believe, but the tracklist has already surfaced. Wiz is on here twice, and that’s the closest fans might get to a How Fly sequel. Below, see the video for “What It Look Like,” the lead single featuring Wale. It’s definitely a Wale song featuring Curren$y, but it’s about as commercial as Spitta’s gonna get….
The album: June 5.
The tour: April 19.
Start a business, mind your own.
Out Feb 28th. Mufuckas can’t fathom the wizardry.
Look out for a new Rick Ross mixtape early next year.
